RS PRO 1 Phase 2.4kVA Variac, 240V ac, 10A

This Variac transformer from the RS PRO range is designed to convert mains power to variable voltage. You can use it for testing purposes with output voltages from 0 to 240 V AC. Thanks to the dial and clockwise-turning knob, you can easily and reliably adjust its output.


The transformer delivers a smooth linear output and no waveform distortion. This prevents your devices from overheating or malfunctioning. The commutator is silver-plated to provide high efficiency and a minimal chance of overloading.


This benchtop varivolt transformer is compliant with the EU's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, so it contains minimal levels of environmentally harmful materials. It also conforms to ATDI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards, ensuring electrostatic emissions won't cause damage to your equipment. Please note that this device does not provide mains isolation.
