It features an internal bimetallic strip that heats up when it receives an irregular current, causing the contacts to trip and stopping the power flow. Thanks to a current rating of 40A, the unit can work with your high-power equipment. It has type-C tripping characteristics, so trips reliably at between 5 and 10 times its rated current. As this MCB has built-in resistance to shock and vibration, you can rely on it to prevent false tripping.
