RS PRO Universal Joint, Single, Plain, Bore 6 mm, 34 mm Length


RS PRO's universal joints are made for connecting rotating machinery, such as drive and line shafts or conveyors, to a prime mover. They're used to connect two rods or shafts with axes that have an inclined angle to one another, as you might find in trucks and cars.

It has a 6 mm bore and like most bored hub types has a square, round or hex-shaped hole. To ensure smooth operation when using this joint in vehicles or with machinery, you can use a protective gaiter with the plain bearing. These couplings can tolerate applications with a 1000 rpm maximum speed and 3° to 45° operating angle.

As part of our trusted RS PRO range, this component has been stringently tested. The most common uses for these steel joints include conveyor belts, centrifugal pumps and automotive propeller shafts.
