What does it mean if an RCD keeps on tripping?
Constant RCD tripping often indicates faulty electric appliances or sockets. It also shows earth leakage problems.
How does an RCD work?
Incoming current through an RCD must equal outgoing current through a circuit. The device compares differences in current between live and neutral wires and disconnects the power when current flows through the earth wire.
PFIM Series
Professional range of Eaton compact residual current devices from the PFIM series. Each device incorporates a real contact position indictor. Ideal for fault current/residual current protection and extra protection in a wide range of application. Various tripping current ratings are available.
