Eaton Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overcurrent Protection, 1+N Poles - PXK-C Series - PXK-C10/1N/003-A

Looking for a combined solution that detects and protects against overload and short circuits? This Eaton RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) combines RCB (residual current device) and MCB (miniature circuit breaker) functionality to protect against earth leakage as well as overcurrent. It interrupts and disconnects power supplies when it detects a fault, protecting operators from electric shocks and equipment from damage. Attach this unit to your industrial circuits to enhance workplace safety.

• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +40°C for use with devices in demanding indoor and outdoor settings

• Trip sensitivity of 30mA prevents risk of electric shocks

• Type-C tripping characteristics ensure the device triggers disconnect within 5 seconds after fault detection

Why is an RCBO better than a circuit breaker?

Circuit breakers only disconnect the flow of current after a fault occurs. An RCBO, such as this one from Eaton, incorporates a circuit breaker and an overcurrent protector, which automatically interrupt the power supply when detecting even slight imbalances on a circuit. By doing this, it prevents damage to equipment and injury caused by electrocution.
