This opaque fluoroplastics PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) rod is a durable solution for chemical and engineering applications. It measures 300 mm in length and 100 mm in diameter.
The rod's PTFE material means it's chemical-resistant and radiation-resistant. It has excellent dielectric properties for effective insulation and is suitable for use at temperatures up to +260°C. With a high tensile strength of 25 MPa, low friction and low adhesion, it's a good choice for harsh environments.

It meets the standards of the DIN (Deutsches Institut für Nurmung, German Institute for Standardisation) and the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) for plastic and elastomer testing. A flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 from Underwriters Laboratories means it will self-extinguish within 10 seconds.
