RS PRO Black Glass-Reinforced Plastic GRP Rod, 1 m x 60 mm Diameter


Make high-quality parts and components with this black nylon rod from RS PRO. It has a high level of impact resistance, and the 30% glass filling ensures good stiffness for reliable performance. The nylon 66 material is easy to machine, allowing you to produce a wide range of structures.

The rod is safe to use in environments where flames may be present as it's UL HB (Underwriters' Laboratories Horizontal Burning) certified, meaning it will burn extremely slowly. It's also chemically resistant and can withstand temperatures of up to +110°C, so it's ideal for high-stress applications. Use this rod for aircraft gears, wheels and bearings, as well as packaging and food processing machinery.
