The Broadcom Optocoupler features an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. Designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications, it provides the necessary drive voltages for gate-controlled devices. With a high operating voltage range, it can directly drive IGBTs with ratings up to 1200V/100A, making it ideal for high-power applications that require precise and reliable switching.
