The device has type-C tripping characteristics, so it reacts when it receives five to ten times its rated current of 4A. This means it suits setups where inrushes are likely to be high. A two-pole layout means the MCB does double duty by managing two circuits at once, making it a good fit for distribution boards and commercial lighting installations.
