RS PRO Zinc Alloy Locking Handle, Compression Latch

Compression latches are a simple locking mechanism for panels and doors. They create a high-pressure seal and are especially suitable where vibration is an issue, or when equipment needs to be sealed from dirt, dust and moisture. You'll find these latches on machinery covers and electrical cabinets.

This RS PRO compression latch is made from a zinc alloy with a chrome-plated finish. The cam pieces are made of zinc-plated steel. As well as offering a reassuringly secure gapless seal, the latch is quick to operate using a square key and a rotation action. An indicator on the latch head shows when the latch is properly closed.

The latch has an IP65 rating, meaning that it offers a dust-tight and water-tight seal. It's suitable for a maximum panel thickness of 20 mm.
