SICK C2MT Series Light Curtain Receiver, Sender, 34 mm Resolution

This light curtain is a safety receiver intended for presence detection and hazardous-area protection in industrial automation. It operates as a standalone unit or as the final device in cascaded systems, providing optical synchronisation without a separate sync line. The device is designed for machine safety applications where an unobtrusive, narrow-profile sensor is required and is compatible with standard safety relay integration and hard-wired configuration.

It accepts 24V DC with an operating range of 19.2V DC to 28.8V DC.

The housing meets IP65 for dust and water resistance and tolerates -20°C to +55°C operating temperatures.

It provides PNP semiconductor OSSD outputs that are short-circuit protected and cross-circuit monitored, each capable of ≤300mA.

It is supplied with C-Fix and L-Fix brackets, a twin-stick system plug, and a test rod matching the beam resolution.

Approvals include CE, UKCA, cUL, cULus, EC-Type-Examination and various national declarations.

Two identical miniTwin-stick packages MUST always be ordered for a complete system.,Cable: Each miniTwin is supplied with an M12 5-pin 1-way system plug. To cascade 3 pairs you will need 2 x cascade cables. Either 701-2962 for miniTwin up to 540mm or 701-2971 for miniTwin over 600mm. These cascade cables have 2 x plugs and should be attached to the rear of your middle pair of miniTwin. The cascade extender cable 701-2974 can be used in conjunction with the 2 x cascade cables to increase the distance between miniTwin if required.
