This light curtain provides beam-based presence detection for safeguarding access to hazardous machinery and work areas. Designed as a receiver unit, it operates within typical industrial environments to detect interruptions in an array of optical beams, enabling rapid machine stop or interlock functions while forming part of a Type 2 safety installation.
