The SpotClip-Caps are for use in combination with the SpotClip-Plate. The SpotClip-Plate is a reinforcement plate for downlights in suspended ceilings.

The SpotClip-Plate is used in combination with 4 rigid tubes and 4 SpotClip-Caps to provide the required safety distance between the plate and the insulation material and thus prevent damage to the insulation material caused by the lamp overheating.

This also improves lamp lifespan and reliability.
