The bezel is made from chromium-plated metal, which is highly resistant to scratches and corrosion. Thanks to this durable metal and a robust build, it can carry out up to 1,000,000 mechanical cycles. You can use it in a constant state thanks to its stay-put position, and it comes with a NO (normally open) contact block and two keys for straightforward mounting and operation.

Is this key switch waterproof?

This switch has an ingress protection rating of IP67, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1m depth for 30 minutes. Its IP69 and IP69k ratings mean it can withstand high-pressure water impact up to 7,000,000Pa at a distance of 0.1m. This close contact makes it suitable for use in environments where washdowns are needed.
