APEM 2-Axis Potentiometer Joystick Passive, IP65, 240 V ac

This unit features an open style body and offers dual axis control. Known as the X and Y axis it allows movement to North, South, East and West directions. It has a conical handle which is friction held allowing you to set a position then release the handle without it returning to the central position on its own.

This joystick is fitted with 5 K potentiometers which have 55º tracks. These potentiometers give rail to rail swings for applications where it is required and extra amplification is not practical.

The 4000 series is a robust, industrial class potentiometer joystick. They have an all metal construction giving a long service life and a high level of performance. They have some advantages over contactless joysticks such as ease of interfacing, wider operating voltages, lower current drain and immunity to RFI.

Fully proportional joysticks

These joysticks are panel sealed to IP65 and thanks to their robust design they are ideally suited for heavy duty use within a wide range of temperatures and loads. Applications could include wheelchairs, factory automation and remote operated vehicles.
