Simatic DP, RS-485 right angle adapter
The 6ES7972-0BA12-0XA0 is a right-angle, RS 485 adapter designed to be used to connect PROFIBUS nodes to PROFIBUS bus cables. This module transfers data from 9.6Kb/s up to 12 Mb/s. This PROFIBUS connector can connect up-to 2 PROFIBUS cables and features an integrated resistor combination that can be selected with a slide switch.

Compact and high quality, the 9-pole sub-D housings are available in bus node or bus termination versions and are colour-coded for easy identification. Service nodes are also available for CAN-Bus and Profibus systems, allowing online programming and repair. Each interface comes with detailed assembly instructions and mounting accessories.
