Alpha Wire, 0.56mm², Screened Polyvinyl Chloride Sheath

This control cable is designed for signal and control circuits in industrial automation and electrical installations where screened conductors and reduced emission of combustion products are required. It combines multi-core screening and tinned copper conductors to provide stable connectivity and suitability for installations with elevated ambient temperatures.

Each core consists of multi-stranded tin-plated copper conductors which improve flexibility for routing and offer enhanced resistance to corrosion compared with bare copper.

The assembly uses an aluminium/Mylar tape with a tinned copper drain conductor to provide a continuous return path for interference and to simplify termination to earth.

The outer sheath is a PVC compound selected for abrasion and sunlight resistance while maintaining a flexible profile suitable for cable management.

The cable is specified for continuous operation between -30 °C and 90 °C to accommodate cold storage areas and warm plant-floor locations.

Nominal capacitance and inductance values are provided for system calculations and the voltage rating is 300V for typical control networks.
