This extremely efficient open-style variac transformer is used to supply electricity between circuits. It's sturdily built from high-quality materials, so will be long-lasting and require little attention once installed.

A low operating torque and a low magnetising current contribute to this transformer's efficient operation. It comprises a silver-plated commutator offering a smooth linear output, no waveform distortion and an integrated overload capacity for safety. There's a continuously variable alternating current output voltage and an overvoltage tap for regulation.

You can find this transformer in single or three-phase versions with various current ratings. It's suitable for flash mounting within control panels, enclosures or process control equipment.
