The cable is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 ports. When used with a PD 3.0 enabled USB-C power source, the 1-meter USB-C to C cable supports up to 100W (5A) of power to charge a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop, tablet or smart phone.
