Alpha Wire Polyvinyl Chloride

This multi-core industrial cable is designed for control and data use in automated and electrical systems where flexible, screened transmission is required. It combines tinned copper conductors with a protective PVC outer to perform reliably in continuous-flex installations across varied ambient conditions.

The assembly incorporates an aluminium/Mylar tape with a tinned-copper drain and a braided shield providing at least 90% coverage to reduce external noise and offer a convenient earthing path.

Use a minimum bend radius equal to eight times the cable diameter for both static and dynamic conditions and limit pull tension to 29 lb to avoid conductor damage.

Each conductor has semi-rigid PVC insulation and the core bundle is wrapped with polyester tape before a nominal 0.040 in PVC jacket, combining mechanical cushioning with abrasion and environmental resistance.

The cable meets RoHS requirements and the applicable EU Low Voltage Directive provisions, and it is manufactured free of listed SVHCs above threshold levels in accordance with REACH guidance.
