TRIAC, WeEn Semiconductors


The WeEn Semiconductors Planar passivated four quadrant triac in a SOT78 (T0-220AB) plastic package intended for use in applications requiring high bidirectional transient and blocking voltage capability and high thermal cycling performance. Typical applications include motor control, industrial and domestic lighting, heating and static switching.

TRIACs


A range of TRIACs (Triodes for Alternating Current is also known as Bidirectional Thyristors). They are used in AC switching and control applications with current ratings from under 1A to 40A rms. A TRIAC makes a convenient switch for alternating current circuit.
