The open-style transformer comes with flexible leads that are colour-coded and insulated for greater safety, versatility and ease of installation. Its highly conductive copper termination wires are stripped at the end, ready to connect to your circuit either in series, in parallel or independently – whichever suits your purpose. Toroidal transformers are used in a range of applications including telecommunications equipment and security systems.
