RS PRO SPDT Monitoring Relay, DIN Rail
This SPDT monitoring relay from the RS PRO range is an electromagnetic device that's used to control the power flow in circuits at timed intervals.
Standard control relays open and close circuit switches whenever voltage is applied and removed from the coil. Timer relays, however, open and close contacts at user-selected intervals. This is preferable for several applications, such as lighting circuits, sensitive equipment control and conveyor belt sequencing.
This monitoring relay has seven selectable time ranges, with separate adjustments for on and off ranges. It has a multi-voltage input that initiates the unit whenever a trigger signal is applied. Adjusting the time-delay is as simple as turning a knob.
The product is fitted with a DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardization) rail mount, which can be fitted onto a DIN rack with ease. This all works to provide simple, customisable and economical circuit control with little intervention needed from you.
