RS PRO Type K Thermocouple, +750°C, 500 mm Length, 0.5 mm Diameter


This thermocouple from RS PRO can help you measure heat reliably over a range of temperatures from -40°C to +750°C. It has a grounded junction at the measuring point, connecting it directly to the sheath. This gives the product a fast response for measuring real-time temperature changes.

The thermocouple has bendable probes insulated with stainless steel. This offers a great level of corrosion and oxidisation resistance without compromising flexibility, allowing you to bend and move the probes to suit a variety of set-ups and layouts. It comes colour-coded in green, in accordance with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards, so it's immediately visible as a Type K thermocouple.

This product is suitable for measuring corrosive substances and for use in high-pressure or sulphuric environments. Typical applications include brick and cement kilns, the glass industry and heat exchangers.
