The HF plug connector from the BNC series is the most commonly used coaxial connection. Its excellence is in its small construction, simple handling, bayonet closure and waterproofing. Its area of application goes up to 4 Ghz for the standard model. The connections are delivered with a wave resistance of 50 Ω or 75 Ω. The flexible cables used have an outer diameter of 2.5 mm to 6.2 mm.The HF plug connectors of series 13/4 are used in communications engineering systems (DIN 47 283 and DIN 47 284), and also in pH measurement technology (DIN 19 262). 13 stands for the outer diameter Ø 13 mm, 4 for the inner plug diameter Ø 4 mm (bunch plug). Cables up to approx. Ø 9 mm outer diameter can be used. The connection is made by soldering.
