The Fluke Stroboscope is a new age device ideal for stop motion diagnostics and frontline mechanical troubleshooting. The Fluke 820-2 LED stroboscope allows you to observe potential mechanical failure on a variety of machinery, covering a wide range of industries, without making physical contact with a machine or shutting it down. Due to the stroboscopes rugged, compact and easy-to-use structure, it makes an ideal portable strobe for stop motion diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, process and product research. Stop motion diagnostics let you identify the running speed of rotating equipment, identify part numbers or other markings. You can measure the speed of rotation and frequency of a rotating shaft, speaker, or mechanical part, troubleshoot belt-drive machines, and more. It supplied with a protective case and an external trigger connector.
Features and Benefits
Adjustable flash duration Digital pulse width modulation for exceptionally sharp images at high-speeds Find belt rotation speed and look for belt slippage Find machine element components - fan blades, pump vanes, compressor screws, and gear teeth High efficiency LED solid-state light source with uniform flash characteristics allows for higher flash rates - 30-300,000 FPM (flashes per minute) High-intensity 7-LED array - 4, 800 Lux @ 6,000FPM/30cm Multi-line LCD display No need for reflective tape Quartz-accuracy control system provides high accuracy - 0.02% (+/- 1 digit) RPM measurement and frequency investigation Rugged and durable design utilizes solid-state LEDs with no filaments, gases, hollow cavities, or glass - (1m drop) Slip measurement
