This solid state optocoupler from Phoenix Contact lets you safely switch electrical equipment on and off. It isolates input and output circuits to limit interference while transmitting current between them. A quick response time of 40μs (microsecond) in the input circuits makes this device reliable in demanding industrial applications, while the LED display means you can easily monitor its operating voltage.

The output circuits have a large voltage range between 3 and 30V DC, so this optocoupler is suitable for a wide range of systems. For added safety, it comes with reverse polarity and surge protection, which cuts off power if it's plugged incorrectly or if an electrical malfunction occurs. The signature Phoenix Contact green housing makes the unit easy to identify during routine maintenance, and its compact dimensions of 80 (height) x 6.2mm (width) mean it fits easily into tight spaces.
