The Exsys PCI I/O module provides eight RS-232 , 422 and 485 serial high performance UART 16C1050 outputs. Each port can be independently configured as RS-232, 422 or 485. It is designed to expand eight additional serial combo ports for PCs, small workstations or servers over the PCI bus. It supports the ATATM Auto RS-485 transmitter features. A low profile bracket for narrow PC cases of 8 cm height is supplied with the module.
