For an automated system tha runs without a hitch, hook up your appliances with this sensor actuator cable from Phoenix Contact. It lets you connect a sensor to an I/O device, and with a current rating of 2A and a voltage rating of 30V, it's ideal for low-power applications.
The cable has eight cores surrounded by multiple layers of PUR insulation sheathing, so you can depend on it to stand up to mechanical stress and constant abrasion. With a standard male M12 connector at one end and a female M12 connector at the other, you'll have no issues with compatibility.
