This component also stops lubricant from escaping from the bearings inside the shaft, so they don't overheat and become damaged. This oil seal is easy to replace, without risk of damaging the housing bore of your equipment in the process. The nitrile rubber material it's made from has a high tensile strength, which means it's durable enough to withstand knocks and scrapes.
The nitrile rubber seal is highly resistant to petroleum-based fluids, greases and oils for a wider range of industrial uses. It can be safely used in freezing conditions, in temperatures as low as -40°C. The seal is versatile, as it works with machines, engines and similar mechanical assemblies.
