Protect workers and equipment with this push button shroud from OMRON. It's precisely sized to pair with an A22E series emergency stop switch (such as 746-7166). The unit is shaped to shield the button and prevent accidental activation or deactivation. As it's made of robust and corrosion-resistant plastic, you can use it even in harsh industrial environments such as chemical processing plants. There's a predrilled hole in the base to slot in the E-stop and washers are included to ensure you get a secure fit.

Yes, it's designed for use with A22E series emergency stop buttons which have IP65 protection. This means that they are fully safeguarded against low pressure jets of water from any angle.

A22E Series Emergency Stop Switch


The A22E series emergency stop switch is supplied as a complete or sub-assembled unit and can be installed in a 22mm or 25mm diameter hole. The switch unit can easily be mounted without the use of tools.

Direct opening mechanism to open the circuit when the contact welds

Safety lock mechanism prevents operating errors

Easy mounting and removal of Switch Blocks using a lever

Mount three Switch Units in series to improve wiring efficiency (with non-lighted Switch Units, three Units can be mounted for multiple contacts)

Finger protection mechanism on Switch Unit provided as a standard feature

Install using either round, or forked crimp terminals

Non-lighted models IP65 (oil-resistant), lighted models IP65

A lock plate is provided as a standard feature to ensure that the control box and switch are not easily separated
