From RS PRO, the Fumecab 250/600 extraction unit is an excellent addition to your health and safety solutions. In environments where damaging fumes or smoke are generated, this compact but effective system is able to extract and filter the fumes, resulting in precise protection for single operators.

It is effective as a solder fume extractor in most single-operator electronics applications.

The following accessories for the FumeCAB extraction system are available.

• 764-5786 is a combined HEPA/Chemical filter for the V600 system

• 764-5795 is a replacement HEPA/Gas filter for the V250 system

• 764-5798 is a 5 pack of replacement pre-filters for the V250 system

Applications

These compact extraction systems use airflow filters to control potentially hazardous fumes. They are portable enough to be directed at single-operator environments, and as such are ideal for practices such as hand soldering, where the build-up of toxic and damaging fumes can be a by-product. Due to the glass fibre media used in the filters, these extractors are also able to deal with coarse particulates, which makes them ideal for powder handling. These extractors are also ideal for;
