RS PRO Urethane Foam Activated Carbon for use with RS PRO Fume Extractor 1234905

These 130 mm square filters are designed to fit neatly into the RS PRO portable fume extractor. Made from urethane foam, the filters use activated carbon to help absorb the flux and lead fumes caused by soldering.

Activated carbon's higher surface area is particularly effective at trapping airborne particles. When used with the fume extractor, these filters can absorb up to 80% of the noxious fumes released while you solder. As part of the RS PRO range, they have been rigorously tested and inspected, so you can be confident of their consistent quality.

These black urethane foam filters are supplied in a pack of three. They conform to the US and European ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards. This type of solder fume extractor accessory is often used by plumbers and electronics engineers to help keep their environment safe while they work.
