RS PRO PSE Series Photoelectric Sensors

The PSE series photoelectric sensors from RS PRO are economical and reliable compact devices essential for industrial environments such as conveyor belts in manufacturing plants. The PSE range offers a series of detection types that include diffuse reflection, polarized retro-reflection, through beam reflection and background suppression with various detection ranges.

How do they work?

A photoelectric sensor is a non-contact device which detects the presence or absence of an object regardless of material. The sensors do this by emitting a beam of infrared or red light at a photoelectric receiver to assess surroundings, detect objects or recognise the absence of an object.
