RS PRO 19.1mm Black Potentiometer Knob for 6.35mm Shaft Splined

These skirt style potentiometer knobs from our own RS PRO brand are suitable for a 6.35mm shaft. With brass bushings and a high-quality plastic shell, these potentiometer knobs are durable and practical. They are ideal for a variety of applications and environments.

There are many different uses of a potentiometer. The three main applications of a potentiometer are:

• Comparing the emf of a battery cell with a standard cell
• Measuring the internal resistance of a battery cell
• Measuring the voltage across a branch of a circuit

Most potentiometer knobs are simply fixed on manually with a simple push by fitting it to the shaft. They either have a knob, screw, grub, or slider as a fixture that is used as a control element to vary the resistance between the middle terminal and either one of the outer terminals for the potentiometer.
