The DC buzzer's internal drive means it doesn't require any additional circuitry, making building systems an easier job easier for systems engineers. It's designed for mounting into a panel, so you can build it into a device.
The buzzer conforms to US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and UK (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Buzzers of this kind are commonly used in devices ranging from door alarms to pest deterrents.
