These 8800 series 1.27 mm PCB receptacles have a straight beam two-point contact design that assures a reliable electrical connection and a long wiping action on insertion. The housings of these 8800 series board to board socket connectors are designed to prevent misinsertion and protect the contacts from damage. An audible click is produced when mating is compete. These 8800 series board to board PCB sockets support stacking, horizontal and vertical board to board applications. Versions of these header connectors are available with flanges for screw mounting and PCB hooks to secure the connector during the soldering process.
