A range of Board to Board MINITEK Shrouded SMT Headers suitable for wave solder applications. The material of the MINITEK Shrouded SMT Header is a high temperature, black thermoplastic with a UL 94 V-0 Flammability Rating. The MINITEK Shrouded SMT Header can withstand 100 Mating cycles.

The FCI MINITEK 127™ 1.27mm Connector System contains an extensive modular range of connectors for all types of wire to board and cable to board applications. It includes straight and right angle, surface mount and through mount and different plating variations. The FCI MINITEK 127™ 1.27mm Connector System is not a proprietary system and is therefore intermateable with other common designs. Housed in high-temperature, black thermoplastic, the MINITEK 127™ series features a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 and an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC. The electrical current rating is 1 A continuous and the voltage rating is up to 125V.

From January 2014 the new design of the Board to Board MINITEK Shrouded SMT Header will be introduced as stock of the original design are phased out. The main design changes are: Tin plating on Solder tail area, blind hole in the middle of one side of shroud for cap location, material HTN (Halogen free).
