Brought to you by RS Pro, a range of high quality LED indicators. These indicators have diffused epoxy lenses and are a black plastic bezel. Two of the key features are a 500 mm flying lead termination and a convenient snap-in fixing, for a quick and straight forward installation. A key selling point of these indicators is their Snap-in ability. Normally LED indicators would need to be fixed to the surface or mounting hole. These particular models incorporate 'snap-in' technology. It requires no additional hardware and can be quickly fixed to the mounting hole. They are pushed through the hole and the plastic catches around the side 'snap', fully fixing the indicator in place.

LED has many benefits, the longevity and low power consumption are the main selling points of an LED. However, there are various other reasons to consider:

• Temperature - LED's give off a far cooler temperature than what an incandescent or neon light would.
• Direction - LED's will only emit light in a single direction, reducing the need for additional components, such as reflectors. Although this wouldn't apply if the LED indicator is being used as a circuit board signal.
