This drives the camshaft via the gearbox, and is coupled to the gears using a brass pinion on its shaft

Sequencers
A cam sequencer can be assembled using a combination of an assembly frame (either strikers or screw adjustable), a knob and a gearbox. The striker versions are configured by moving pre-defined divisions in a similar manner to some mechanical time-switches.
