Introducing the Scotch® 8959, this Bi-Directional Filament Tape is a clear, general-purpose fibreglass reinforced tape with a rubber resin adhesive making it ideal for heavy box securing and cross-web slicing. The bi-directional aspect of this tape allows for more strength due to the fibreglass yarns laid in different directions. The rubber adhesive ensures a high initial adhesion that holds well with a minimum rub down on the surface.

The moisture-resistant polypropylene backing can resist abrasion, chemicals and scuffing giving you the confidence to hold strong throughout transportation. The 8959 allows for printing and illustration to be seen through the tape, as it can be applied to a pressure-sensitive adhesive is a popular choice with manufacturers of food and beverages, factories, warehouses, shops and at home. It offers a good edge tear and split resistance, especially working well on challenging recycled corrugate and fiberboard.
