The Broadcom Optocoupler is an advanced, easy-to-use intelligent gate driver with a 2.5 A output current. It simplifies IGBT VCE fault protection, making it compact, affordable, and easy to implement. Key features include integrated VCE detection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), "soft" IGBT turn-off, isolated open collector fault feedback, active Miller clamping, and auto-fault reset.
