RS PRO Elastomer O-Ring Cord, 1.6 mm Diameter, 8.5 m Long


Repair seals quickly and on-the-spot with this O-ring cord from RS PRO. You can use it on components such as gaskets and sealing washers for rapid repair jobs to reduce factory downtime.

The cord is made from elastomer rubber, which is flexible enough to bend into most desired shapes. Its pliability also means that it can be put under pressure and return to its original shape without being permanently deformed. As a result of its material make-up, this product is chemical-resistant so won't be negatively affected by the presence of abrasive fluids.

You can use an elastomer cord in both fluid and gaseous applications so it's suitable for pneumatic sealing applications where compressed air and gas is used. It contains only minimal levels of any harmful substances, making it Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant.
