AVX 0201 X7R Dielectric Capacitors
AVX 0201 X7R dielectric is a temperature stable ceramic capacitor and falls in to EIA class 11 materials. The X7R Capacitance varies under the influence of electrical operating conditions such as voltage and frequency. Its temperature variation of capacitance is within ±15% from -55°C to +125°C. This capacitance change is non-linear. These ceramic multilayer capacitors suit a broad variety of industrial applications where known changes in capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable. 0201 Range
Nickel barrier terminations covered with a layer of plated Tin (NiSn)
Applications include mobile phones, video and tuner designs
C0G/NP0 is the most popular formulation of the "temperature compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials
X7R, X5R formulations are called "temperature stable" ceramics and fall into the EIA Class II materials
Y5V, Z5U formulations are for general purpose use in a limited temperature range, EIA Class II materials; these characteristics are ideal for decoupling applications.
