The MikroElektronika add-on board is designed for fast and secure non-volatile data storage in embedded systems. It features the BY25Q16E 16Mbit SPI NOR Flash memory from BYTe Semiconductor, supporting standard, Dual, and Quad SPI interfaces for flexible communication. The board enables high-speed data transfers up to 432MHz in Quad mode and includes Continuous Read Mode for true XIP (execute-in-place) operation. It offers three 1024-byte security registers for protected storage and supports up to 100,000 program/erase cycles with 20-year data retention. With Click Snap and ClickID features, it allows modular placement and automatic identification by host systems.

Supports SPI clock speeds up to 108MHz with Quad mode transfer rates up to 432MHz

Offers HOLD and Write Protect functions for advanced control
