RS PRO Acetal Copolymer 1/4in NPT Valve

This flexible coolant hose valve from the RS PRO series allows for the easy management of liquid or airflow with its twistable on / off control. Suitable for applying coolant in liquid and air applications – such as water pipes or boilers – the national pipe threaded (NPT) valve closes tightly. Thanks to its tapered thread, it creates a fluid-tight seal.

Made from the acetal copolymer polyoxymethylene (POM), this valve is sturdy, tough and low friction. POM is non-conductive thermoplastic and resistant to most organic materials but should be avoided in environments using strong acids such as hydrochloric, sulphuric or nitric acids. This valve is fully interchangeable and therefore easy to replace when needed and can be interlocked to construct bespoke systems.
