RS PRO Red 1-Lock Lockout ABS Ball Valve Lockout, 8 mm

From RS PRO a specially designed lockout device for stainless steel butterfly valves. This device is quick and easy to install and can be used to lock a handle in the ’Open’ or ’Closed’ position to ensure workplace personnel do not have access while engineers are working on the system.

Position the valve handle in the required on/ off mode, place the spacer on the handle, slide the tubular body over the valve handle, and lastly add the end cap. Secure with a safety padlock and add a hasp or tag if required.

Lockouts are vital safety devices that should be used always to ensure valves are not accessible. If multiple engineers are working with the system, a hasp, tag, and individual padlocks can be attached, and only when all devices have been removed will the system be safe to activate.
