The ABUS Emergency stop switch lockout is operated intentionally when systems and machines in industry and commerce have to be tested or repaired, then the emergency stop must not be reversed until after the work has been done. The emergency stop switch lockout encloses the switch with a plastic cover and locks it with a padlock. In the sense of the Lockout/Tagout system for increasing work safety, the emergency stop switch is thus protected against access and at the same time marked as intentionally pressed in.
