This limit switch is a Compact mechanical device designed to detect and control position in industrial automation systems. The enclosure meets IP67 as well as IP66 and IP65 classifications, allowing protection against dust and temporary immersion or high-pressure water jets depending on installation.

The switch is suitable for AC circuits up to 600V and DC circuits up to 250V with a maximum switching current of 10 A.

It operates between −12°C and a maximum of 121°C, enabling deployment in elevated-temperature industrial processes.

It is designed for side mounting and provides a 12.7mm conduit entry for cable or conduit termination.

It carries recognised approvals including CCC, CE, CSA, EN, IEC, RoHS and UL confirming conformity to multiple regulatory and safety frameworks.

HDLS switches have a IP65, IP66 and IP67 rating. This means they are dust-tight and offer protection against water jets, heavy seas and the effects of immersion.

Type 1: Enclosures that meet Type 1 are for indoor use, and provide some limited protection for the enclosed equipment.
Type 3: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from foreign objects (such as windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as rain or snow). Enclosures that meet NEMA 3 offer protection against ice forming externally.
Type 4: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from foreign objects (such as falling dirt and windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as rain, snow or sleet alongside splashing water and hose directed water). Enclosures that meet NEMA 3 offer protection against ice forming externally.
Type 4X: Allows for indoor our outdoor use and provides some ptoection against windust dust and rain, corroision, splashing water and hose directed water.
Type 6: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from foreign objects (such as falling dirt and windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as rain, snow or sleet alongside splashing water and hose directed water). Enclosures that meet NEMA 4 offer protection against ice forming externally.
Type 6P: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from solid objects (such as falling dirt and windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as hose directed water). Enclosures that meet the NEMA 6P requirement also offer protection against water when being submerged at a limited depth.
Type 12: Limit switches that meet Type 12 requirements provide limited protection against dust, falling dirt and non-corrosive liquids.
Type 13: Enclosures that meet Type 13 are suited to harsh environments. Enclosures can be used indoors and provide protection against access to hazardous parts. They offer protection against solid objects such as falling dirt, windblown dirt, fibres and lint. They provide a level of protection from dripping and splashing water and other liquids such as spraying splashing and seepage of oil and non-corrosive coolants."
