SICK C4C Series Light Curtain Receiver, 30 mm Resolution

The deTec safety light curtains model is from the deTec4 Core IP69K variant. It serves as a receiver designed for areas with special hygiene requirements, featuring a safety level of Type 4, PL e, and SIL3. With a resolution of 30 mm and a scanning range of 12.5 meters, it offers a protective field height of 900 mm. The connection type is via a connecting cable, 15 meters in length, with flying leads and 5 wires. It boasts an enclosure rating of IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP69K, and includes the receiver in an IP69K protective housing with a 15-meter connecting cable, a test rod matching the resolution of the safety light curtain, safety instructions, mounting instructions, and operating instructions for download.

The intelligent deTec safety light curtains are ideal for the protection of hazardous areas, entrances, and hazardous points. Modern technologies such as NFC and IO-Link with their diverse functionality increase the level of automation and thereby productivity. The result: Simple on-site diagnostics, fast commissioning, and comprehensive data for automating downstream processes. Furthermore, the flexible connection concept in combination with the uniform housing design ensures low cabling, installation and configuration costs. The required functions are activated without software via the matching system plug.
